Ian

Ian opened Grooveworks Recording Studios in 1997 and merged with Osceola Recording Studios in Raleigh, North Carolina in 2001. He has worked with acts ranging from rock and pop to hip-hop, R&B, jazz and blues. He has engineered, mixed, mastered and/or produced projects by:

About Ian
Ian lives in Raleigh, N.C., with his wife and his four very successful cats. He grew up in the suburbs of D.C., where he started his musical career as a drummer. He played in various rock and jazz bands in the Triangle music scene in the 80s and 90s—including Eight or Nine Feet, Two Fish Blue, Gild the Lily and The Foolish Things. His idols are his wife, Pete Townsend, Paul McCartney, Bob Clearmountain, The Brain and Jack Bauer (not necessarily in that order).
